Big Idea?

 ‘Looking for the big idea?’  Lots of management books talk about creating that one compelling idea and to put all your energy and passion into this. But if we think about ‘big ideas’ or market innovations then we can spend a huge amount of effort pursuing these.  There are probably very few big ideas knocking around.  The wheel was one – it’s been around for 1000’s of years and looks like it’ll keep on running for a while longer. 

But perhaps it is in the little things that real power of change comes through. Applying small wheels to something that had been around for quite some time – the suitcase – has fundamentally changed a market.
