  • UK Travel group needed to consolidate 4 franchise businesses to drive efficiency and improve operational flexibility 
  • The businesses could not consolidate fully due to franchise commitments but needed to leverage size and experience within the constraints of that model
  • Each franchise operated independent boards and served different regional markets bringing conflicting priorities and local agendas.

Response

  • Appointed as Programme Director
  • Worked with Exec teams across each Operating Company to secure buy in and funding to a single range of initiatives
  • Mobilised 15 projects with executive steering committees across each Operating Company
  • Sourced internal, consulting and interim project resources to support major initiatives across 
    • Lean Engineering
    • Customer Service
    • Procurement
    • Security
  • Established the go-forward team to deliver a sustained efficiency programme once consulting teams rolled off
